Club details & Membership

Association annual membership runs from the 1st April to 31st March the following year.

Membership applications may be made online through Polegate Angling Centre at https://www.polegateangling.co.uk/ or in person at tackle shops in Hastings and Bexhill as well as Polegate AC and Kent Tackle at Hawkhurst Fish Farm.

Alternatively, Membership application forms may be downloaded from our website and returned by post, with a SAE, to Mr S. Corke 2 The Siding, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN40 1RF.

Membership Fees

We encourage juniors to take up fishing as we strongly believe there aren’t many better sports to get into and you can’t beat getting outside, therefore juniors up to the age of 12 can be included on their parent’s membership for free.

About the Club

The HB&DFAA was established in 1895; the Association provides its members and day ticket anglers with various lakes and rivers to fish throughout Hastings, Bexhill and the surrounding area.

We currently have five lakes that provide a mixture of species at specimen weights to suit all anglers’ preferences. As well as the lakes run by the Association, we also offer members the ability to fish various stretches of river, both through the Rother Fisheries Association and water sharing, in the surrounding area.

The association provides waters to suit all ages, abilities and interests as well as club matches so there’s something for everyone at little more than a pound a week; unquestionably great value for money.
